Safari via Zari (Kolsa) gate is offering very good sightings off lately and non-availability of safari Gypsies is a testimonial to this. Issue is Resorts Zari (Kolsa) Gate Tadoba, they are not many at all. The wildlife’s are now staying at Chandrapur which is approx. 35-40 kms away from the gate and is not an ideal place as you need to get to gate by say 6am for the morning safari and again not recommended to come back in teh afternoon for lunch and then get back again immediately for the afternoon safari – very tiring and you might not enjoy the safari after this bumpy ride from the hotel to the gate.

We have seen people booking safari at one gate and resort at a totally different gate and their rationalization is that all are Tadoba – please note that the gates are from 20 to 150 kms apart and almost impossible to commute between the resort and the safari gate if there are not attached to the same gate or zone.
