Panpatha Wildlife Sanctuary

The Panpatha Wildlife Sanctuary was formed in the year 1983. It consists of an area of 245 sq. km. The Sanctuary accommodates various speices of animals like the Tiger, Panthers, Jackal, Wild dog, Chital, Sambhar, Blue bull, Porcupine, Chausingha, Bear etc. Other well-known destinations like the Bandhavgarh National Park, Bandhavgarh Fort, and Khajuraho are situated close to the Sanctuary.

Also Some Religious destinations and ancient temples like the Laxman Temple and the SheshShaiya Temple are also worth visiting for the visitors. During Religious Fairs which are organised here two times a year on Janamashtmi and Ram Navami present an awesome spectacle for the tourists.

Four-wheeler Petrol vehicle is the means of travelling inside the area. The Forest Rest House at Tala (Bandhavgarh) and other private lodges at Bandhavgarh are available for accommodation at the Sanctuary.
