Payment versus Availability
All payment quotes are for provisional booking based on current availability. Availability may be subject to change if payment is delayed. A booking can only be confirmed by receipt of the required deposit.
Confirming your booking and making payment
Upto 30% deposit is payable immediately to confirm your booking.
The balance will be payable 10 weeks prior to check-in in case of overseas payment and 1 month in case of domestic payments. For bookings made less than 10 weeks prior to check-in, in case of overseas payment and 1 month in case of domestic payments, full payment is required at the time of making the booking. If you wish to save on transaction costs, you can also make full payment now.
You need to pay 100% before one month of the check-in date. If you pay in advance and the time period is less than a month, you need to make the remaining payment as soon as possible else your reservation will lapse and our refund/cancellation policy applies. For the international transaction, it will be 10 weeks instead of a month.
If you have made advance payments and your remaining payment is due and it’s getting closer to that “one-month deadline before check-in date”, make the payment as soon as possible as if it crosses that “one-month before check-in date deadline”, your reservation will lapse and you will be automatically referred to our refund policy.
We accept payment by credit card or by direct bank transfer.
Paying by credit card:
We accept all major credit cards and do charge 2% as additional credit card surcharge for cards issues in India and up to 8% more for foreign issued cards.
Please note – many banks routinely decline international credit card transactions, so please clear your transaction with your issuing bank before attempting payment. If you have any questions or difficulties with making payment, please let me know.
Paying by bank transfer:
Payment can be made by direct bank transfer (NEFT, SWIFT or wire transfer) into our Indian bank account, but please ensure that the foreign currency conversion is done by your bank so that the payment arrives in Indian Rupees. Some banks make use of intermediary banks that deduct fees for routing the money. All transaction costs are for your account, so please indicate all charges for the sender’s account (not shared charges), so that the full amount will appear in our account.
Generally, the following are excluded unless explicitly mentioned as included. They are
- All flights and car rental
- Personal Travel Insurance
- Meals that are not specified
- Water Bottles
- Room Service
- Gratuities (not compulsory)
- Personal expenses and optional extras
- That is not mentioned in the Inclusions
25% is non-refundable once the Safari Permit is done for the participants. The refund policy below is applicable to remaining amount.
75% to be refunded if cancellation is done 90 days prior to the check-in date
50% fee to be refunded if cancellation is done 45 days prior to the check-in date.
No refund if cancellation is done within 45 days of the check-in date.
Please note: The date of written communication of intent to email id firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel is the date considered for calculation of the cancellation fees.
Participants who have a medical history of blood pressure, heart-related problems or asthma are advised to seek medical advice before enrolling in the package.
Safari booking is controlled by the Forest dept. and many a times without notice, they reduce the number of gypsies and in such cases we will have to put canter [mini-van]
Once the Safari is booked, we will not be able to make any changes in the name/ID/Date/Session etc and also will not be able to add/remove people from the permit. Only way is we have to make a new permit assuming availability.
Forest Dept. sometimes cancels the Safari due to various reasons which are not under our control and in such cases our refund policy for the safari costs will be limited to Forest Dept. Refund Policy and in no way we will be refunding any/part of the resort and other package costings.
What rules & liabilities inside the forest are as per the laws of the respective Forest Dept. Rules, Regulations and Liabilities and waivers. Please ensure you read them before entering the forest. The office at the gate are bound to inform you the rules & regulations. Make sure you know your rights and rules before entering the forest. We WildTrails will not be responsible for any of the happenings and events which are not under our control but fall under the rules and regulations of the respective forest dept.
Please note that, as much as we crunch numbers, choose the right gate, expert trackers and the trails specifically designed for you for that day, session, gate, no one in the world can guarantee the sightings and it all depends on your luck and of course that is the fun of getting into a safari else we would rather go to a Zoo. WildTrails as a Company in no way will be liable for any sightings in any way. We should all know that we are entering a forest and the sightings all are governed by the laws of nature.
There are times (especially during peak season) some of the resorts will be overbooked and in such cases we will move you to a different than stated resort but of equivalent rating resort [we will never compromise on the quality]
In the community likeminded travel sharing, WildTrails will try to bring likeminded people together and we do as much analysis of the travel poster as well as joining members but we will not be liable to any of the issues that might happen during the tour or afterwards and we cannot be held liable or responsible for any of the outcomes of such a contact. We are just a platform to bring like-minded people together and it is up to the involved parties to ensure general common-sense safety tips are followed before agreeing for a trip or before exchanging personal details.
WildTrails technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be responsible for injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveller in connection with social or labour unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, terrorist activities, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel partner’s control. In such cases, we will not be able to refund any part of the payment nor will be able to advance.
By booking with us, you will be agreeing that you have read the entire terms and conditions mentioned here and also agree to it and also hereby indemnify WildTrails technologies, and its officers, respective Forest Dept. and its officials against any claims for compensation by yourself or others in the party, in the event of any injury or death to yourself or others in the group, during the park excursions and during the entirety of the duration of the tour/package. You also agree that you wil waive the rights to pull us to the court
