Distances and Routes to Ranthambore from famous cities and towns

From Delhi

The distance between Delhi and Ranthambore is around 400 km. If you are traveling by road you can take NH8 and NH11 then the distance reduces to 380 km and you can cover this in 6.5 hours’ time. However, if you take the Yamuna Expressway and Taj expressway to reach there your distance increases to 437 km and it may take you more than 7 hours to reach that place.

Ranthambore is a place where you get to see wildlife in its full splendor and all safari details help you in booking one easily. In case you cannot sit in a car for such a long time you can also book a train ticket and the nearest station for you would be Sawai Madhopur. There are many trains like the Sarvodaya Express, Jat Hapa Express, August Kranti Rajdhani express, Hazrat Nizamuddin Mewar express which can take you to the intended station.

The time taken by these trains ranges from 3.5 to 9 hours. If you want to explore the place in full and are still unsure of what to expect in Ranthambore you can also book a flight to Jaipur. Normally it takes one hour to reach Jaipur from New Delhi and it remains convenient too.

From Jaipur

Again the distance from Jaipur to Ranthambore is around 200 km. You can take the NH12 and the distance would be reduced to 166 km and finally reach in 3 hours and 25 minutes. However, if you start on the NH116 the distance increases to 222 km and you would reach in 4.5 hours’ time.

Planning to take a train to Ranthambore you would have to take a train to Sawai Madhopur which is the nearest station. You can choose from amongst Jaipur Madras express, Dayodaya Express, Jaipur Bandra terminus Superexpress, Jaipur Ratlam fast passenger etc. Approximately these trains would make you reach your destination in between 2.5 to 4 hours.

From Agra

Often we wonder how foreigners can plan an amazing Ranthambore trip from Delhi Jaipur Agra etc. then here are the exact details to do so. The distance between Agra and the park is around 290 km. You can take the Agra Bikaner road and reach your destination in around five hours’ time. You can also take a train to Sawai Madhopur and some of the most popular ones are Varanasi Okha express, Ziyarat Express, Ananya Express, and Patna Junction Kota express. The normal time taken by train is around 3.5 to 6 hours.

You can also book a flight from Agra to Jaipur. It will be a small flight of one hour and after that, you can take the above modes to reach the Ranthambore national park.
