Wildlife Photography Contests for Children (& adults)

Wildlife Zoo Photography Contest by Mysore Zoo - WildTrails of India - "Aggregator App for Your Wildlife Trip" (We are an Aggregator App, bringing all of Indian wildlife & Nature resorts into one place to help YOU find your ideal destination/resort based on your personal preferences!! Wildlife Week is celebrated all over the country in the month of October from 2nd to 8th October every year with the view to preserve the fauna means the animal life of the India. It was first started in the year 1952 with the great vision of saving the life of the Indian animals by taking some critical steps. It involves the planning to save animal extinction of any species of the India. The Indian Government has established an Indian Board of Wildlife which works to improve the awareness as well as the consciousness of the Indian people towards the wildlife preservation.

Mysore Zoo Wildlife & Zoo Photography Contest

Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden popularly known as Mysore Zoo is conducting a wildlife photography contest and exhibition to mark Wildlife Week.

The contest will have two categories – wildlife and zoo. Interested can submit two photographs (12X18 inch size) for each category by paying Rs 100 as entry fee before September 25. The winners will be announced on September 27. Three winners in each category will get cash prizes and certificates.

Attached is the application form which you need to download and send it along with your wildlife/zoo pictures that you are submitting for the contest. Send them to:

Mysore Zoo Drawing & Painting Contest

Mysore Zoo will organize drawing and painting competitions for children from 2 pm to 4 pm on the zoo premises on September 12. The competition will be held in six categories- kindergarten, class 1 to class 4, class 5 to class 7, class 8 to class 10, PUC and above and special children. Schools and colleges can send two students in each category. Interested can register their names before September 11 and the topic for the contest is Zoo and Wildlife. The duration of the contest is two hours.
