Where are Tadoba Safari Gates Located?

Tadoba is a very popular Tiger reserve in India and is located in the state of Maharastra and around 100 kms from Nagpur city. It has one of the best tiger sighting index (TSI)* across all national parks and tiger reserves in India. It has probably one of the best tiger & tiger cubs densities across India. Issue starts when you start booking a safari. They have 12 safari gates and all are spread across from 20 kms apart to 140 kms apart and people don’t even know where they are located. Any number hours of research on google will not conclusively pin point to these location (apart from a few) and have seen many people struggling to locate Tadoba safari gates and are calling us frantically calling our “Indian wildlife helpline – +91-80-33512427” in the last minute or calling us early wee hours saying (or even in the middle of the night) that we are lost please help us. This article if for all of the Tadoba lovers who are struggling with such issues.

Tadoba has 12 safari gates namely

Kolara, Moharli (mohurli), Navegaon, Khutwanda (khutvanda), Pangdi, Zhari(kolsa) (Zari), Agarzari zone, Devada Adegaon Agarzari Zone, Junona Zone, Ramdegi – Navegaon Zone, and Alizanza Zone

  • now click on any gate and it will show exactly where it is located on teh map and it will navigate you to the exact gate location (they have the exact lat long of the tadoba safari entry gates location)


  • Now click on the gate you want and see it on the Map. If you are driving just navigate 🙂 That’s it, and you are done
